Selah gives us a moment to ponder the sovereignty of God even over all nations, so the nations will know themselves to be but men. To prompt reflection on God’s historical acts of deliverance of HIS people highlights HIS justice, and the consequences of wickedness.
Let your fingers trace the lines of text in HIS Word and reflect deeply on its meaning. Believers are to pause and consider the faithfulness of God even when others doubt.
The senselessness of pursuing falsehood burdens the soul and causes an immense weight of guilt, especially for those called to ministry. Cry out to God and let your heart be filled with an undeniable plea for HIS mercy and forgiveness. With your eyes welling up with tears, stop, pause, and meditate, and exalt HIS Name, Selah.
How long will earthly judges continue to judge unjustly? Selah invites contemplation on God’s power and judgment that we stop and gain a deeper appreciation for the moments of meditation, and praise that HIS Word encourages.
Self-reflection is essential for us to have inner peace, Selah.
God’s people please be careful with whom or what you follow these days, there are some people and/or things, that can lead you directly to hell. Before you obligate your life to any person or thing, stop, pause, and meditate on God’s Word, HE will guide you through, Selah.
