When giving to others, do not deplete yourself to the point of becoming empty. We must learn to give in ways that we can replenish our self. Sow into the lives of other people while nourishing oneself in the process. This commentary is sound in every aspect, oxymoronic though it seems.
We are instructed in Scripture that giving is a good thing. However, to give to the point of barrenness makes our lives a wasteland, an impoverished unfruitful desert.
(2 Peter 1:3) Informs us how God shares HIS own glory and goodness with us. As we know HIM better, through HIS Word and great power, everything we need for living a truly good life is made available. So when its time to serve someone other than self, God replenishes us to carry out HIS will. There is no better source of nourishment we can ever receive.
Holy Scripture tells us that, if we acknowledge God in all that we do, HE will crown our efforts with success. We can look upward while pressing onward, as we grow in grace, walking in the Sprit of God according to HIS Word.
When our families are strong, our communities are strong. Our nation is mighty because of the strength of its citizens. When the citizens of a nation are well nourished, that nation becomes a potent, productive, and powerful land. A God fearing land, built on a solid foundation, comprised of properly nourished families, which are the support structure of its citizens.
If a nation submits under God, then women will submit to their Godly husbands, and with that submission comes protection. Anyone who doesn’t want to submit should not stir in the lives of those who follow divine order. The choice to do so will never be forced upon you. We are living our best lives being kept, like a spiritual patchwork of different fabrics held together by something solid. AMEN
