God, forgive us for thinking that we are smarter than the Internet. The Internet is a part of our daily lives, and beyond its entrance emerges a new frontier to explore. Grant us oh Lord, renewed sense of purpose for operating in this realm.
There is communication and understanding, one’s good, but the other is everything. (Proverbs 15:1) Tells us about the use of gentle words that promote peace and don’t stir up anger. On the Internet, there are many opinions that give no consideration to there being only one fact. The way that we express ourselves effects communication and understanding.
The realm of the Internet is where material that matters, is Materialism. Then comes Idealism, with Realism being far behind.
Realism asserts that reality exists independently of our thoughts. Living within limits is a practical display of realism.
With a Divine sense of purpose, may our actions on the Internet be grounded in reality not wishful thinking or untrue beliefs. Be grounded and rooted in the Word of God, when approaching life in this realm.
Christ is our example of how to love. HE gives us sense of purpose that we may keep loving others. HIS love is a silent language that is loudest when unspoken, remarkably, even over the Internet. Spoken so loudly that hate is better left unsaid or unwritten.
Guard your heart, suppress sadness, and express more love, this way strangers on the Internet won’t have all of your secrets.
Remember, both parts of you smile when God speaks HIS love for you, the part that’s HIM, and the part that’s you.
