What else is there to live for if we don’t live for something good? Stay close to anything that makes you want to do what’s right and run from anything that gives you evil thoughts.
The letter of (2 Timothy 2:22) Apostle Paul to Timothy, advising him to avoid youthful passions but instead pursue with fellow believers, qualities and virtues such as righteousness, faith, love, and peace.
The church cannot pattern itself after the world, because the world cannot have dominion in God’s house. The world shall not possess control within, or power and authority over, God’s house.
If the world were not difficult to resist, it would not be a temptation. The Bride, or church, must stand against lies and avoid the temptations of the world. Entrusted with leadership over the people, it answers to a higher authority. The church knows that it upsets God when HIS sheep are scattered like paper boats sent down white cap rivers and expected to survive.
In the innermost sanctum of the church, no mask may be worn in this sacred or holy area. For a mask serves as a barrier or hindrance to experiencing the true essence of whatever is considered sacred in that space. The innermost sanctum represents an intimate realm, of one’s inner thoughts, emotions, or true self where there is no place to hide behind facades or pretenses. A place of vulnerability and honesty, where there are no disguises or mask, where people are grateful for the opportunity to be human. In this place, no stones are cast into its cathedrals stained glass.
