SOW TO REAP

The way that we behave towards others will be mirrored back in our direction.  There is an agricultural principle regarding sowing of good seed to reap good crop.  This is also a law of the spiritual world.

A farmer’s success is contingent upon his preparation of the soil and the planting of good seed.  This will yield him a successful harvest.  The harvest will be greater than the original seeds sowed.

This works for things that we do not want to see multiplied as well.  We cannot fool nature any more than we can fool God.  For it is the basic nature of God’s justice.  If we want love and abundance in life, give it away.

For those people who attempt to destroy the harvest of those around them, will surely reap destruction in their own lives.  A sinful natured person who sows fleshy acts will reap corruption.  The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature, he shall reap destruction.

When life becomes challenging, it is easy to resort to an easy way out by doing disgraceful acts.  Simply put, by doing bad things, bad things will happen to you.

The Grace of God ensures those who sow to the spirit shall reap life everlasting.  The Bible says throughout, “To reap is to gather a crop, and to sow is the planting of seeds.”  In life, plant seeds of righteousness to gather a crop of sure, just reward.

Galatians 6:7-9

7 “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

John 4:37

37 “And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth.”

Proverbs 11:18

18 “The wicked worketh a deceitful work: but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward.”

Ephesians 4:31-32

31 “Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.”
