The life that YOU blessed me with, I have taken for granted; I seek YOUR forgiveness FATHER, for squandered time.
There are few people who go through their entire life thankful for being given life. Life’s trials, often accompanied by moments of reflection, makes us realize that precious time has been extravagantly squandered.
Seek forgiveness from HE whom has given us the life, which we have taken for granted. The missed opportunities to do HIS will, and now the weight of regret is heavy on we who squandered our time, and now long for HIS redemption.
Whenever we disregard God’s will, the end result is squandered time. In (Luke 15:13) we are taught The Parable of the Prodigal Son who squandered his property in reckless living and spent his inheritance in a careless and extravagant way.
The depletion of resources, relationships, or time is not easily regained. All of the valuable missed blessings were squandered, which have far-reaching effects on our lives and can impede spiritual growth. Have regret and remorse for wasteful living and our diminished potential, it may have prohibited us from experiencing the benefits that could have been obtained.
Do not misuse the opportunity to steward over your resources, ensuring they are used in ways that align with God’s will. We only live to glorify our FATHER, in hopes of receiving HIS transformative grace and mercy. It is time that we renew a commitment to God, for the fulfillment of HIS will.
Make time for prayer and to study God’s Word, seek HIS guidance that we discover our purpose. Surrender to HIM while there is still time, do not squander the opportunity to seek HIS forgiveness, for wasting precious time.
