With all that is going on in the world, it is like a pot of sewage, heated and stirred by Satan. When cooking fresh crabs and lobsters, they are placed alive in a pot of cold water. This is done so that the crustaceans don’t realize they are being slowly cooked to death. By the time the water slowly rises to a boil, it is too late for an escape; death has already over taken them.
The act of paying attention can keep man alive. It is not that we cannot see the slow merger of state and corporate powers. Nor can we not feel the effects of our world getting hotter. We just choose to ignore the signs. “God has given us one face, and we make ourselves another.” There must be a united rebellion against extinction.
The crab in the bucket has a different reality than the crab in the pot. Bucket dwelling crabs can grasp their fellow crustaceans trying to climb out and pull them back into the bucket. But pot crabs rest in a false sense of security. They are bottom dwellers that stay there until they are overcome by death.
Reach for deliverance and never mind those who prefer to remain in the depths. Seek God and be delivered from the pot of wickedness that is being stirred by the evil one. For the time has come that we must focus on our own deliverance and leave the darkness of the world behind.
Remember, the world never liked you anyway, and will not ever be impressed by anything that you accomplish. So rise into the light of the salvation of God. There is no greater accomplishment for those who desire eternal life. (Psalm 18:30) HIS way is perfect and HIS Word is flawless. HE shields all who take refuge in HIM.
Remove yourself from amongst the bottom dwellers. (Proverbs 23:18) Tells us not to envy evil men but continue to reverence the Lord. There is hope for you yet!
