Our words have power to inspire and uplift, or discourage and tear down. Through an effective use of our words we can harness the Divine within us and energetically transform the atmosphere.
Words are powerful and there is a need in the world for more encouraging ones. The words we use towards each other are great tools that shift the atmosphere, impacting both those who speak and hear them.
Residing within the vast expanse of our consciousness is a tapestry of thoughts, and it is our words that serve as the conduit for their expression. Graceful speech accompanies pure thought. We find solace and guidance along the path meant for our lives when our pure thoughts are expressed. The ability to eloquently articulate thoughts through the medium of language subdues the bad ones, and those thoughts are not allowed to manifest into physical action. (2 Corinthians 10:5) Tells us how to take captive every thought and make it obedient to Christ.
(Ephesians 4:29) Stresses the importance of speaking in a way that is beneficial and uplifting to others. We are told to avoid using words that are negative, harmful, or unedifying, and instead, to choose words that build up and meet the specific needs of others. The words from our mouth can create a positive and more supportive environment. They have the power to inspire and motivate others to reach their full potential.
Trendsetters who blaze a trail for believers in Christ use transforming words. They do not wait for a following before they choose to lead. Their words are full of truth, and they will not distort it to validate the opinions of those who deceive.
