TRUE LOVE OF ANOTHER

Over the years we find a person who we know and with whom we have a bond of mutual affection, typically exclusive of family relations. This person is someone you love and who loves you. Someone that you respect and you know they respect you. A relationship of mutual trust is established based on honesty. This person is willing to accept you as you are and you them. There is a shared personal regard and fondness between you both. There is an unspoken rule that binds you without legal contract. An interesting kind of adoration exists and they seem to understand you while listening.

Above all others in your life, you value their advice, opinion, and confide solely in them your deepest secrets. Things shared remain in a vault so the most private fears and thoughts are freely spoken and never used against you to hurt in any way. It feels this person has an innate sense of what you may be going through before you even tell them. They relate to you on such a deep level of communication, it seems they have a profound understanding of what you may be experiencing. When fooling the world was easy, my pains and truths I was unable to hide from you.

They are the first person you call to share your good news with, and who will celebrate life’s accomplishments by your side. They are always available to you; in their presence is a common atmosphere of gratification. No tabs are kept between you, creating a tide of sharing and caring that comes effortlessly. Through an earned respect and appreciated honesty, trust has been gained, loyalty returned.
