We blindly drift into areas of discussion that we hold no position to discuss, but our power comes from understanding the position we hold. An unwavering position is not always the best way to resolve conflict. By understanding the position of an adversary is the best gauge by which to measure our response.
Doing what’s just and true in the eyes of God, gives the position we hold its strength. Humanity needs to come to understand its position and find common ground between men, for we have a responsibility to take care of the earth over which we were given dominion.
Understand the position we hold as people and operate from there, power comes from completely understanding the position of another. (1 King 18:21) Reminds us not to waver between two opinions or positions. The end of the verse outlines the two positions.
